Urinary incontinence means urine leaking without your dog’s control. If you’re noticing damp bedding or unexpected wee accidents, your vet can help identify the cause and recommend suitable care.
Signs of urinary tract infections in dogs
These signs can occur with urinary tract infections, but can also have other causes. Speak to your vet rather than assuming an infection is the cause:
- Straining to urinate
- Waking up in the night to urinate
- Blood in the urine
- Excessive licking at the genital area
- Frequent urination
- Excessive drinking
If your dog is straining but cannot pass urine, seek urgent veterinary care.

Directions for use
Give the capsules with food. The capsule contents have no strong taste, so you can give them whole or open them and sprinkle the powder over your dog’s food.
