Settlers contains the result of a major discovery made some 25 years ago, which was a means of facilitating the absorption of magnesium into the body which was patented as MAH (magnesium aspartate-hydrochloride)

MAH is made by the German pharmaceutical company Verla Pharm who developed and patented a range of supplements originally for human use.   After decades of experience they went on to devise and manufacture products suitable for horses, livestock and, most recently, a further range specifically formulated for working dogs.  Verla Pharm apply the same stringent quality and production control techniques to all their products.

Your dog needs to have the correct balance of calcium and magnesium. When a dog is highly strung or becomes stressed, anxious, nervous or excited, they burn off magnesium. This allows calcium to overload muscle and nerve cells and replicates the rise of adrenaline. This can cause erratic behaviour, aggressiveness and/or tightening of muscles.

Settlers uses a water soluble amino magnesium complex which is able to enter the dog’s system very efficiently and absorb into tissue.  It does not contain  L-Tryptophan, herbs or any ingredient that may compromise performance or sedate your dog.
