Each 10ml bottle contains over 200 drops

NAC Drops offer excellent soothing and lubricating qualities N-acetyl-carnosine  has been found to be safe in both human and animal trials. You can use Clarifye NAC drops to support your dog’s eyes naturally.

The  key ingredient in our eye drops is antioxidant N-acetyl-Carnosine (NAC), a naturally occurring compound chemically related to the amino acid antioxidant Carnosine.  It is found naturally in food (meat) and indeed in all animal cells where has both antioxidant and antiglycation properties. Your dog’s levels of Carnosine decline with age.

The NAC molecular structure is identical to Carnosine with the exception that it carries an additional acetyl group to make it more it effective in the eye tissue.  Carnosine is not found in vegetables or cereals.

Clarifye NAC Drops support eye health by diffusing a powerful but natural anti-oxidant  directly into your dog’s eyes. We believe that antioxidant eye support is a breakthrough in providing natural support for your dog’s eye health and can reduce or even eliminate the impact of cataracts.

RESEARCH FINDINGS…..CLICK

University of Cambridge trials

In an experiment involving the use of N-acetylcarnosine in dogs suffering form cataracts, researchers found that its effects are more pronounced in the early form of the disease. Scientists from the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Cambridge (UK), wanted to see if a topical antioxidant containing N-acetylcarnosine had any effect on dogs suffering from different stages of cataract. They examined 30 dogs of different breeds and used eye drops containing 2% N-acetylcarnosine. The drops were used three times a day, and the dogs were examined at regular intervals, by using direct and indirect ophthalmoscopy and slitlamp biomicroscopy (a method whereby the examiner looks directly and in detail into the eye). Specialist photographs were then taken. The results showed that improvement of cataract was found in all eyes examined, but this improvement was particularly relevant in cases where the cataract was in the early stages(immature cataract).
